Jack Rollins - ‘Sons of the East‘ Musician

This week we layback with the King of charisma, lead singer of Northern beaches band 'Sons of the East', Jack Rollins. With over 50 million streams on Spotify, not only are they one of my favourite bands, but Rollins is easily one of my favourite 'front men' in Australia. The way he can sing, dance, guitar and command a crowd is second to none. After another year from hell for musicians, we catch up with the rockstar and talk through their career, get his thoughts on the music industry, tour life and see what is planned for the next few months. 

‘Minds in Moto‘ ft Grunta & Soepey - #014

This week we jump into our second 'Minds in Moto' episode. This is a deep dive into what's happening behind the scenes of Motorino and what is coming up. We are joined by Clak, Grunta and our videographer/model homie Jack 'Soepey' Soepono. Soepey has joined the Moto team since the start of the year, so we give him a bit of an intro and the value he brings to Motorino. 

We also wrap up what was actually a really good Winter for Motorino, even in the face of adversity. We also turn our eyes to Spring and what we have in stall for y'all!

Mulga the Artist - Sydney Street Artist

This week we layback with Sydney Street Artist, Joel Moore, aka Mulga the Artist. Mulga is a highly regarded artist in
Australia with an incredibly unique style of painting and colour work.  We unfold his journey from doodling on post it notes at his old finance job, to collaborating with CocaCola and having his artwork painted the infamous Coca-Cola sign in Sydney's Kings Cross.

This is an incredible story of an individual having enough of the '9-5' and working their butt's off to get out of it!

Dom Littrich - Musician/Social Media lord

This week we layback with Dom Littrich. Dom is one hell of a dude and wears many unsuspecting hats. You may recognise him from IG on his own video skits or even some of the 'Inspired Unemployed' videos. Aside from brilliant acting, Dom is also a drummer in NSW south coast band, Pacific Avenue, and MC to his own funk crew 'Big Twisty and the Funk Nasty'.

He is hilarious, incredibly talented and self proclaimed to be better than a wristy. We dive into all of these passions and how these have turned into some serious gigs!!

The Rugby League Guru - Finals Footy

This week we layback with 'The Rugby League Guru'. The Guru has a well established Instagram page and Podcast (now occupation) dedicated to the NRL and is certainly one of the leaders in this new era of Rugby League media consumption. We get his thoughts on season 2021 and discuss finals footy as we approach the first week of NRL finals.

We also unfold a bit of his journey and dedication to his craft. It is always inspiring seeing someone grind away at their dream and make it become reality!

Justin Lang - Exercise Physiologist and Coach

This week we layback with Justin Lang. 'JL' is one of the most highly regarded Exercise Physiologists and high performance sports coaches in Australia. He is the Strength and Conditioning coach in both Paul Gallen and Rob Whittaker's corners. Son of 2003 Panther's NRL Premiership winning coach, John Lang, he also specialises in Rugby development. No surprises footy coaching runs deep in his veins.

Josh Moss - Love Island Lols

This week on The C-Side we Layback with good mate and Love Island survivor Josh Moss. This ep is a really good laugh! We know you all love a bit of reality TV as a guilty pleasure, so we jump into the behind the scenes and what it was like in a house of love for over 8 weeks. Josh is a seriously funny guy so he has some great stories about the journey and some interesting insights! 

 

Josh has done really well since the show. We will explore a bit of his success and he’s secret to maintaining a strong social media presence! 

Aidan Guerra - NRL Legend

This week we layback with good mate and ex NRL star Aidan Guerra. Aidan is a seriously cool dude. He wades through life with this natural ease and 'froth' for hard work and good times. Recently retired from the NRL, we explore the challenges he faced moving into work and business post the NRL. We dive into his time at the Sydney Roosters where he won the 2013 NRL premiership, his last years at the Newcastle Knights and his experiences playing in one of the best Queensland Origin teams ever.
